TRE (Tension Trauma Releasing Exercises)

Tension Trauma Releasing Exercises are a series of simple exercises which assist the body in releasing deep patterns of stress, tension, and trauma by inducing a mild to moderate muscular shaking response.

Developed by Dr. David Berceli, Ph.D, a trauma recovery therapist, after working in war-torn countries in the Middle East and Africa in the 70’s and 80’s.
Through this work, he learned that human beings possess an organic restorative capacity to heal from many traumatic experiences and concluded it is within our biology to heal by tremoring to discharge stress and trauma. Designed to be a physical experience, not analyzed or mentally interpreted, this is a body-based modality. Naturally tremoring, naturally dissipating tension, stress, and trauma in a grounded, safe, and comfortable way.

One to two persons per session.
SSP (Safe and Sound Protocol)

Nourish and awaken the nervous system. Feel better. Think better. Connect better.

The Safe and Sound Protocol, or SSP, is a non-invasive application of Polyvagal Theory, based on decades of research and developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, Unyte’s Chief Scientific Advisor.

What you hear, and how you hear it, influences how the body responds.

The Safe and Sound Protocol - a short introduction (4:26 minutes)
Listening is connected with the vagus nerve, the body’s internal control center for processing and responding to cues and signals from the world around us. The SSP uses specially-filtered music to train the neural network associated with listening to focus on the frequency range of the human voice.

Specially treated music playlists are part of the SSP program, and help prime the nervous system by exposing it to different sound frequencies. Listening to these playlists through over-the-ear headphones helps the nervous system to more readily achieve balance, or “homeostasis”.

Distance Healing

Distance healing, also known as Etheric or Remote healing is when the practitioner and the client are in two different locations.  A time parameter is selected, the location of the session is wherever you are.

Distance healing is based on a concept in Quantum Physics that energy is unrestricted to time

and location.  It is possible to transmit healing energies over any distance with intention. Prayer for example, is one of the oldest and basic forms of distance healing.

Private Distance Healing

This is a distance healing session between a practitioner and a client. It is usually facilitated over the phone where the client and the practitioner can engage with one another. Active engagement helps deepen both parties' ability to witness the energetic dynamics throughout the session.

Group Distance Healing

This group healing is inspired by a message I received to "bear witness to the golden filaments that connect us all, supporting the upgrading of humanity into the global/cosmic grid".

Group healings are facilitated by DeAnna Castleberry for thirty minutes, every Wednesday at 7 AM PST. Sign up for a single session, a month, three months, or an unlimited subscription. Cancel or subscribe at any time. View this live via Zoom, but your presence is not required.

Vibroacoustic Therapy

Tree ocean Vibroacoustic Therapy
VibroAcoustic or Sound Healing Therapy combines the power of auditory music/sound with low-frequency vibrations that are felt throughout the whole body. Sound healing therapy is at the cutting edge of healing for the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

It can help to improve the immune system and detoxification and also relieves stress, tension, anxiety, and effects of trauma.
An attendee facilitates the set up and then you spend up to 45 minutes lying on a table with music and vibrations.

Study Groups

I am a technique certified CranioSacral Therapist looking for Upledger CranioSacral Therapy (CST) practitioners who want to review, deepen and practice applying the wonders of this work in a small study group setting located within the triangulated city hospitals of UC Davis, Sutter Hospital and Dignity Health.

In 1996, I attended my first CranioSacral Therapy workshop and afterward struggled because I couldn’t feel the craniosacral rhythm. Frustrated, I put the work aside to study other modalities until a local practitioner decided to hold regular study groups. It is through attending these study groups, receiving regular private CST sessions, taking a minimum of one workshop per year, becoming a teaching assistant, and getting technique certified that I have a successful CranioSacral Therapy practice today.

Exploring the endless wonders of the craniosacral system, through CranioSacral Therapy is my passion and commitment that continuously feeds me. The gift of patience to hold space for the unfolding growth of clients on my table, as well as myself, is a personal treasure.

If you have a learning style that needs to see, hear, feel, sense and apply over and again, please come.

It’s time for me to pay it forward. I am truly grateful to all the Upledger Instructors, especially Melinda Naye, and the personnel at the institute for their dedication to the continued growth of this work.

I launched my first study group in January 2020.

Please click the registration button for dates, times and topics.  I hope to see you there!
